he will stay at Newcastle. But he has said he wants to go to the sharks if he can't stay.

But maybe the sharks have lost interest and are awaiting for another big name to come onto the market.

Hadley just confirmed it on 2GB as well.

So Manly firms a bit more for next year's spoon...

Well done to Souths, hope they can pick it up a bit next year. A side with Fletch, Hill and McDougall in it can't be to bad, all ex-Aussie players. Least they will have some experience that i personally think they have lacked in the first 2 years back

With young guns such as Geddes and Byrne around for next year, they might just surprise a few if they get a good start to the season. Don't forget guys, this team should've beat us and Brisbane in the first couple of weeks this year

Cheers,
Moffo

whereas hill definetely is past his prime, mad dog is just finding form again, and fletcher is still a very good player, dont forget that in the 12 games that mad dog played this season, he scored 11 tries

Fletcher is 29
Hill is 31
McDougall is 28

But who cares, Fittler is 31 and in the best form of his career. Kearns is almost 33 and ditto for his form. Especially in the tough department (where these guys will play), sometimes players get better with a bit more age and experience

Cheers,
Moffo

I dont understand why souths sign all these old players past their prime..they should build up in years to come through the young players and junior ranks
So these players can help the young blokes coming into grade...

The coach can only do so much.
