Two clubs away on trials/pre season trips. Two clubs break curfew, one losing its football manager through this lack of discipline. Both clubs do not have criminal charges laid, as both cases site "insufficient evidence".
Whats the difference?
The difference my friends is Newcastke have settled the matter in less than 48 hours. They have sacked one supposed offender, and have fined all other players involved in breaking code of conduct.
The other club, *edit*. Only after hour upon hour spent behind closed doors,*edit*, only to have their football manager be the scape goat whilst the alleged perpetrators *edit* and were allowed to participate in a team that was rewarded eventually with the games highest trophy.
I congratulate the Newcaste Knights for handling the situation admirably, quickly and decisively. Its what the game needs.
To the other filthy dirty cheating club....I hope you pay attention and learn what it takes to not alienate the hand that feeds you prix...the hand of the rugby league fan.
