After what seems an eternity of losing GFs 'spuds' boys have beaten Keighley 31-20 to win promotion to the Championship. Congratulations Oldham. Enjoy your time in the sun 'spud, you deserve it.

So, so far, Oldham are up and the other will be Keighley/York/Swinton/N.Wales.

Taking the places of Doncaster and Hunslet.

Daft oclock here in vegas...had a few drinky poo"s to celebrate..

We will be playing somewhere else next season,thats already been announced...nobody knows where though yet...most prefer a return boundary park,many could live with going to ashton or rochdale as long as its just for a season...but further away than that and most have said they won't go or will struggle to go...leigh sports village is getting decent rumour points cos our chairnan is/was the LSV stadium manager this season...that wouldn't work at all for oldham fans,we deserve to see oldham play in oldham...not a village in wigan..

Ps...it was'nt just king kong...every chimp from planet of the apes,mighty joe young,clyde from every which way but loose was on there...even bubbles stole a ride..

Boundary Park seems perfect, especially if a long-term agreement can be reached.

What would be the main hurdle there? The cost? The football team?

Theres many hurdles..the 2 main ones are we still owe them rent from the last time we played there....and the football club don't want us there..
