haha!

It was disgraceful BT. Seriously had nothing & the Dragons were awful.

How Simmons will remain in first grade again after this week will have me stuffed. He offers absolutely nothing to the team. misses 50% of his tackles, runs the ball back like a softy, makes far too many simple mistakes & doesnt score off kicks .

Yeah but with Steve gone who's gonna lead the novena each week?

Pastor Simmons is here to stay.

I think it was blatantly obvious where today was lost.

OUr halfback played well below NRL standard , only his effort and defence work was up to scratch.

Ball in hand, he had sets on their line first half to get repeats, and failed with some very very poor attacking kicking that pressured the dragons not once. He also gave away one of the most stupid play the ball penalties Ive ever seen which cost us 6 pts.

Our pack did enough I thought.

Simmons gave away 6 pts with some terrible defence, Merrit tried hard in attack but made a terrible decision in defence which Warren Ryan and Stu Raper both felt was reserve grade standard, by leaving colin best when Gasnier offloaded brilliantly .

There were 4 or 5 incidents , decisions that cost us today. It's far from doom and gloom and I for one am far happier tonight after seeing us play than I was last week.

Luckily for him the other winger was even worse. Hard to believe both wingers could have been so ordinary

Nathan ran with more danger and purpose in attack and on ball returns, but let's get real, our losing of games and our lack of continuity and attacking ability has been directly reflected in the fall away from form of our Nod. Origin 1 hurt us more than we have calculated.

I dont think you can point the finger directly at Simmons or Raper, its obvious that BK is badly out of form and we are struggling off the back of this in attack. Dykes on the other hand with limited opportunities looks very dangerous IMO. And as for Merritt having an outstanding game whilst Simmons was shyte, I find this hard to take, both were shyte and both gave away there fair share of points with stupidity.

No it's not. The Dragons worked hard to expose Simmons and have been the one side to do so this year. What showed was his true form and ability. The minders got taken out of play and when left to himself he failed as so many here knew he would. That's our 2006 fullback. Spare me.

Merritt was dangerous. Sure he came in on Gasnier but who knew he was gonna do an Artie. The bigger error was the 2 blokes holding him who didn't kill the ball.

Then f**k him off! Why is the Gnome a protected species?

Dykes is 3 times the ball player and 3 times the game controller that Noddy is ATM. Raper should do a Folkes and drop Noddy. He needs a wake up call and if he's injured - then take a friggin break for crying out loud.

Worked hard to expose Simmons.............fro memory 1 try was directly his fault (BTW, 1 try was Merrits direct fault to) which was due to all the players moving in and creating an overlap and a 1 on 1 situation. For the most part he took some good catches off potentially dangerous kicks. In attack, both were starved of the ball. I also cant have seen Covell doing any better and IMO if a he was out there today with those kicks and an emphasis in attack down that side, the scoreline would have been terrible

Just shut up you girl. You have no idea what you are looking at in a game let alone commenting on it.

Simmons - took a dive after retrieving a kick - CAT
Simmons - PUSHED Cooper and couldn't catch him - where's the speed? - CAT
Simmons - ran like a Holly Hobbie with a broken foot - CAT
Simmons - missed 50% of his tackles AGAIN - CAT
Simmons - didn't back up any line breaks AGAIN - CAT
Simmons - CAT
Sutho Spuds - Imba

The Dragons worked hard to expose Simmons on the bomb - a plan that failed miserably. Granted he dropped one but that would have been a sensational take. They would have fared much better by bombing Merrits wing as he lacks the height to compete with the taller guys.

I agree that Simmo at fullback is a scary prospect but I'm reasonably comfortable with him on the wing.

The arm grab at Cooper was a disgrace but besides that he did OK for most of the game

ON SImmons, it was obvious from kick off that the dragins wanted to target him in the air, they went to his side plenty of times and he came up trumps each time, credit where it's due if it was the only thing he got right in his game.
