Spurs v Chelsea: Fa Cup Quarter Final Replay

Expecting another pulsating clash. Already Spurs have scored 5 goals against us and secured a win and a draw from two clashes with Chelsea this season. They are a side with pace, movement and a significent goal threat. Chelsea over the last 15 years have an imposing record over Spurs and will be determined not to suffer a second reverse this season at White Hart Lane.

Im expecting Chelsea to start the game with Robben wide left and Sheva playing off Drogba up front. However with JT fit and Essien sure to move into midfield this creates a problem. Mourinho will have leave out either Makelele or Ballack in order to play Robben from the start. History suggest he won't sacrifice either and Robben may start from the bench with Chelsea emloying a diamond with Ballack and Makalele at opposite points and Lampard and Essien driving through the middle. I would certainly consider leaving out Ballack, or playing Essien in Maka's defensive midfield role so Chelsea can start with much needed withd in the form of Robben.

Expecting another open game with both teams to score. Big London Derby. Cmon Blues!

 A Sweet win for Chelsea at White Hart Lane. On to Semi Final now and marching towards a showdown with United at Wembley in May.

2 Cracking goals, especially the effort from Sheva. Minimal backswing and Robertson never saw it coming. Spurs were starting to rest some control before that moment. The double strick broke their back and they never then threatened to come back and extend the tie.

Diarra excellent at left back. For a young player he showed composure in tight situations on a number of occasions. the whole back 4 put in a much more commanding performance in general. I thought Wright - Phillips had a decent game, without even considering his great goal. He seemed to be playing a little more through the middle and made some nice runs.

All in all an excellent victory and a return to normal service against Spurs.

Diarra V. Lennon was a great battle, worth the price of admission

they were two very classy goals from Chelski, gotta give credit to them for that

Now that is why you bought Shevchenko! He may not have scored the number of goals but he always scores them in big games!

A Manure and Blues Final would be a dream. Especially if United do wrap up the Premiership (Sigh). The Blues would be looking to take some gloss off their Premiership for sure.
