Star Wars the Clone Wars

I watched them all when they were on cartoon network at the time but I have just finished re-watching the entire Clone Wars series from the movie, right through till the unfinished season 7 episodes.

Wow. Just wow. I completely forgot how good it was.

I'm more of a fan of the Clone wars era rather than the Galactic Civil war era so imo (I know many will disagree) the Clone Wars show is one of the best part of Star Wars.

Some might think it's just a kid's show but I reckon it appeals to all ages.

It started off quite childish but at about Season 2 it got really, really good.

I've never been one to ever cry in movies but my eyes did well up a bit when Ahsoka left haha.

The series was just that good, way better than Rebels imo and will always be one of my favourite parts of the Star Wars franchise.

It's a great series and imo these are the true prequels. Anakin is my fav character in these cartoons.

Same. I really hated him in the prequels, he was so whiny and annoying. But in the Clone Wars, he is my favourite character like you say.

The prequels also don't show a lot of the character's growth and change. Anakin for example pretty much goes from a nice little kid to a Sith lord. Where as the Clone wars shows his growth.

The Clone Wars made me love clones too!!

Mate, give it a watch from start to finish. You can get episodes on the Microsoft store as well.

Also don't be put off by the movie and the first season (although they are still good they are not as good as the ones after)

Pretty sure I've seen The Clone Wars in the Netflix catalogue so I'll have to watch it as I have not seen it before despite being aware of it for years.

Great show. I'm liking Rebels as well but it's yet to hit the heights of Clone Wars.

Rebels doesn't have that feeling of familiarity, at least not from the good guys POV (although there are some nice cameos)

Clone Wars was cool. A surprising amount of death too. The deaths make sense, just surprising they happen so often.

The only thing that I find difficult to swallow is Darth Maul.

Yea the movie isn't that great. It's from about season 2 onwards where it gets good.
