Apparently they are considering making a 100 epidose TV series that fills in the gap between Episodes III and IV.

Thoughts?

They need to do something with it. There were many holes that the three movies didn't fill......

I hope the wirting has a bit more beef to it than that episode III where the dialogue at times was cringe worthy.

Just sometimes? Just in Episode III? Please, the latest three were all awfully written. I've read high school stories with more intellectual beef. :p

Matthew Newton (ie Bert's kid) was tied to it I heard. He was actually turned down for Anakin in Eps 2 + 3.

Realistically, IV, V and VI were B-grade movies anyway. Problem is, George Lucas seems to have taken the latest three too seriously and tried to be too fancy, and he's kidding if he thinks he can still write a decent screenplay, especially the scenes with Anakin and Padme. Movies were nice to look at though.

The thing that made Ep3 definitely better is that I think they wrote the dialogue between Anakin and Obi Wan more effectively. It was just a bit more realistic and natural than the rest of it.
