Not worried about Kearneys error rate. Would like to see a few more line breaks from him and others though.

On most occasions when he gets the ball it is under extreme pressure......ie: offloads in heavy traffic, grubber kicks, bombs, chip kicks, and being tackled by three or four players on kick returns. His involvement rate per game is high so there will be errors.
If you don't make mistakes , you're not trying hard enough.
But yes you are right............. 14 errors.

well shintaro in all honesty i have seen him just drop it cold often

i think the guy has talent and if his handling improved would certainly be a great player

at the moment though we may drool at his 0.75 line breaks per game (mostly off others offloads) but we must also be concerned at his team topping error rate

Kind of like the half back , who stands too flat to receive the ball for a kick on the 5th tackle, thereby placing enormous pressure on himself, dropping it cold once a week. Or the kick gets charged down. Usually in bad field position & lead the team to another 10-15 tackles in our half.

The nature of the game induces mistakes and everyone makes them. Noddy has made plenty this season but is doing an admirable job at half which I have previously defended. Players who play attacking footy will make mistakes. Players who never make mistakes will never win you anything. You will see every player drop them cold, Simmons Pommery Cov Gallen Bird.Pointless debate really.

Disagree totally.
Technique & enthusiasm & fatigue go along way to error rectification.

Case point
Fraser Anderson
Last year could not catch a ball in the centres. He was hit nowhere near as hard as what he is being hit now & touched the ball dozens of times less per match.
This year, he is pulling them off grass tips on the fly, ricochets off gold posts etc etc & has an error rate of nearly 0.
One thing that has changed is the way he is catching the ball. He is sweeping upwards instead out outwards to receive.
The second thing that has changed is the the type of ball he is receiving. Not many spirals & the passes are plenty early.
it is a complete reversal of results.
Now lets look at our other centre. Almost a mirror of Fraser last year. Outward motion & receiving the spiral at the line, well out in front.
His form has continued & it is poor form.
I am looking at how the pom goes off Seymour passes to see if there is any change to the type, the timing, the accuracy & the distance to see if it improves for him.
Just a theory.

So kearney makes so many errors because he gets a lot of touches, Noddy would touch the ball a lot more times in a match than kearney.

Anderson now catches balls because he plays backrow, he couldn't as a centre because the passes may have been not so good, but now he can catch them of the grass ?

Couple of Anderson stats this year to last remember he played 18 games last year and only 5 so far this year

Dropped ball 24/3
Offloads 6/2
tackles 186/139
missed tackles 21/12

All of Anderson stats are better on average then last year, i think its also he is devloping, and now he sees he can take responsibility, remember when he first hoined club had played about 3 games in first grade

reefy,

why must you always compare every palyer on the team with noddy, blame all their mistakes on him and explain the reason why they dont make mistakes anymore is because of him as well?

its not physics, its footy.

kearney is a champion, there is no way you can say he is not worthy of his position in the team because if anyone, he deserves it the most.

ando has become a great asset in the second row, when all our players are back and we have our full team, it should be good.

i still dont understand why we have two hookers but.

seu seu is close to getting a spot too isnt he?

who would be the best 80 minute player out of the three of them?

I reckon Kinga would be the best option over 80 mins, he seem's fitter than the others... But i would really like to see a De Gois & Seu Seu combo, we are lacking in attack, De Gois did a few good things attack wise last week & i think Seu Seu off the bench would give us a bit more. Kinga is solid, but he doesn't really run effectively from dummy half which is what we need.
