Will the MCG crowd top 90,000 again?
No one has been to a state of origin this year. #Originincrises.
Seriously though I do expect a big crowd at the MCG. 90k wouldn't be a stretch.
Well travelling fans would make up what? Say, 20 - 25k? So that is a good head-start for them
no smith and cronk good hurt the melbourne crowd
Is MCG opening state of origin?
AWesome. Just realised Ill be in Melbourne the same week, totally forgot about origin
Looks like I’ll be attending
I see Phil the Dill is down for under 50k. Have another beer you drunk.
after drunky pants dummy Phil the Dill incorrectly , borderline Lied , about the tickets sales late last week
( he claimed only 20K general public tickets had been sold & the game was tracking for an embarrassing crowd of under 50K )
the NRL came out on the weekend giving the true figures
over 50K general public tickets sold , not including corporates or MCC members , meaning the game was on track for 80K plus. An outstanding number given some tickets were up to $290.00 to buy.
the NRL also indicated Sydney & Brisbane were also both on track to sell out with over 82K in Sydney & 52K in Brisbane
Entrenching SOO's place as the biggest annual sporting series in Australian sport.
