Stephen Kearney Career Coaching Stats and Replacement

He's not THE problem but he's definitely part of it. Huge part of it.

Good coaches create cultures. Ivan created his here. Bellamy obviously creates his. A lot of others do too. Obviously it's a lot to do with the front office staff etc, but a coach can play such an integral role in terms of setting the environment and culture. A good coach can force out the shit around them and effect change.
But that's exactly what the Kearney fanboys said he was doing... must be well sorted by now

Good Christ man, we ain’t getting in the top 8. Not even close.

Remember Con George saying this year wasn’t a rebuilding year? I guarantee he won’t hold Kearney to account even though his performance, whilst trying, but sucking, will be a similar outcome to a team rebuilding.

Yeah I fully agree. The point I was trying to make was that we were a rabble before Kearney came along so he can't be the sole problem/reason.

And to be honest we will most likely be a rabble after he leaves too. The best we can hope for are anomalies like last season every now and then until someone figures out and sorts out all the shit wrong with the joint.

Yes and it's not over yet. Can we still make the 8 in the third year? As long as there is a possibility, Kearney is still able to deliver on his process.
'Tis but a scratch

Griffin and Toovey have had pretty good squads...

Smith is a great coach but moved on?

Start at the top, give Gould control build from the ground up. The whole joint stinks... juniors don't develop and post Monie appoint the worst coach ever and sell it as a plus, rinse and repeat until by accident they came across two that actually could coach

Gould hasn't left Panthers sitting top of the table exactly, but sitting financially secure.
All for him being part of some external review, sadly it wouldn't be made public and would the right people be left there to implement changes.

Culture keeps coming up.
How can the ABs have such a dramatically different culture? Talent pool pressure? Expectation of a nation?

A top coach might attract better players, but the coach only has so many players to select from to replace under performing players and our talent pool is lacking.

We will have to wait and see.

You really think we are going to make the 8?

No worries, I’ll bookmark this for the end of the year.
I'm honestly not sure. Did I type the words 'we're going to make the 8'? I'm only taking your word for it hence me saying 'its time to cry angry tears'. Don't need to bookmark anything unless you want to bookmark me believing you because thats all I'm doing.

Even if we make the eight, there's no way we're going to advance very far.

For 8 years it's just a matter of time before the fade-out arrives, absolutely no mental toughness.

Stephen Kearney has recruited and re-signed over 20 players now.

This is his squad.

And he is clueless.

For such a dynamic 2nd rower himself, he has selected the worst back row combination in the NRL.

Kearney has to go. No, if's or buts. He has to go.

Yep, enough is enough. The team shows no signs of being remotely well coached. Clueless on attack, weak on defence, and mental midgets in competing for 80 minutes. As the season progresses, all areas are getting worse. That simply would not be happening under a good quality coach. Unless we win 6/8 or so of however many matches we have left this season, Kearney has to be given the boot. Plus we haven't booted a coach in awhile, so tis about time.

Is Flanagan permitted to coach now? Get him, Toovey, Shaun Wane, Griffin or Dymock.
All better candidates than SK.

As seen last night, we need to be more adventurous on attack as our one up atttacking game plan is crap.

After every squeeky win I bet Kearney, and Warriors management, think they're sweet for hanging around a bit longer.
