I really like the fox shows more than footy show. They don't beat around the bush and actually talk footy. No silly sketches or jokes.

They had a segment where they put a mic on Brad Arthur at an eels training session which was a good insight.

Footy show is really lagging in the entertainment area for me.

one of the funniest things was seeing fans at the Nines still doing the "That's Gold" gesture

Fox probably assumes that people spending $100 a month or more to watch footy are seriously into it.

Nine probably assumes that people watching Nine like "The Block" and Karl Stefanovic.

Up to a point they are both probably right.

But anyway, "Monday night with Matty Johns" is what "The Footy Show" would've been if Matty hadn't.....well.....we all remember.

Love the Sterlo show. Best thing he ever did was distance himself from Fatty. Arguably the most respected analyst in the game and his show gives him a platform that free to air TV would not have (Sunday Footy Show is ok).

Nearly turned it off when I saw Matty and Hindu on again after just watching the Matty johns show, they then started with exact same footage but got better after that. They could do with more people rather than the same ones on all the shows. Ther's only so much Tallis you can take in a week!
