2003/04 rookie of the year Steve Markovic has left the Razorbacks today to play in Croatia. The razorbacks have said they will not sign release papers as they need him.

I am personally very disapointed, He was the reason i started loving the razors he is the only reason i became a season member. He has no loyalty at all and whilst he can go and urn the big bucks over there, The pride and passion will still be in the hearts of the SDS at The Pig Pen

Razorbacks were rubbish last year. If there losing Marcovich and Trahiar they will be crap this year? Who have they signed btw?

we have signed a few good guys actully,
Rhys Carter has shown some great things in the preseason
James Harvey another decent signing showing some promise
Jermaine Blackburn (improt from the USA) so far from what i have seen he is scoring lots of point, look out for him at this year slam dunk comp.

also Miles Pearce and Cam Rigby (have not seen much of either of them yet)

how ever without steve as our starting Point Guard young Rhys will have some big shoes to fill.

James Harvey is good if its the same guy that i'm thinking of?
Did he used to play NBL but not play last season?

We signed him from the Perth Wildcats, he has really been fitting in well, has scored some awsome points in the few trials we have played so far.

I saw him play in Toronto with your U21 team. Great player, a very strong guard. I wonder if he was contacted by the Croations while at the world U21 tournament?

Well im guessing he was Canadian Steve, but i guess this is the razorbacks fault they had a bloody get out clause in his contract, if a euro club wanted him he could get out. Why oh why would you do this beats the living crap out of me.

Firstly, what a dog act by this Markovich bloke. I'm a Kings' man, but I'm pissed off by that. Just walking out on the club a week before the season starts. What is it with these players? Bruton as well. A contract is an agreement and they have to honour these agreements.

Secondly, Harvey is a good player. Was very good in his years at Perth.

Markovic has lost my respect. No loyalty to at least stay and try to sort it out.
