Mighty, i dont think it is a done deal, i have heard that with all the things of the past he may be looking for a fresh start, and as you know we are on the up with no controvery, maybe with sattler going a year earlier then expected, price may be give the captain's role over with us, heres hoping anyway.

True and I guess if it was a done deal he would of resigned by now, Look I would love him at the club and well I know on Thursday that we will be speaking to a forward who has played rep honours this year so who knows it could be his manager - He wouldn't have to relocate his family and well the Tigers do now have a clean image and well anything's possible

price is the second best prop in the game, behind webcke. constantly makes around 200 metres each game, doesn;t miss tackles and his a good honest hardworking player. sorta like a mark oneil who can make huge yardage. i'd love to see him in tigers colours. he would be perfect now pritchard is gone.

but i think the chances of him leaving the dogs, not to mention him joining us would be close to nil. he loves the bulldogs and is an old fashioned clubman. he's been playing for them for what, 10 years now? it would be like trying to sign the cheif from newcastle while he was still playing. long serving players and club captains rarely leave. without him, the dogs could well have crumbled over the past few years. i doubt they'd wanna lose him too.

the fact he hasn't resigned yet is probly due to a lack of a substantial offer. they've probly been focusing on re-signing other players that could be tempted to leave because they know that he is unlikely to leave. but if he offer him 300k+ we might have a 1% chance at him. and its a simlar story with wiki unfortunately too

I've got the impression over the last year that he seemed very unhappy and dissapointed at the dramas that surrounded his club. I wouldn't be too surprised if he did want to leave. He would fit in well with our players, like Satts, O'Neill etc. How about we all chip in $20 to get him in the Tigers' jersey ey!?

Price has everything we want and need....consistently breaks the line, great defense and the best charge down exponent in the game....at least get one class player and then two average/good joes.
