Just wondering, In this weeks Big League it says that 1 team has been talking to him. Apparently he is the same weight he was when he was at his prime and is nearly just as quick. I think he would be a great centre for him, He wouldn't be that much and to sign him for just a year would be great. He has announced it is definately not the Broncos so that leaves them out of the equation. I think the Cowboys may be the team offering him a deal but It wouldn't hurt to give him a deal with us.

That "one team" is probably Brisbane, Renouf is most likely to stay in Queensland.

Your post didn't mention England, and I don't have the big league article to refer to.

Renouf would perhaps be good value on a one-year contract for Parra, and would provide experience and plug that iffy spot in the centres. ;-)

I say we seriously offer Renouf a deal. He would be a great signing, He has always been my favourite all time centre in my generation. I'd love to see him finish his career in parra colours. Wouldn't be expensive either.

Stranger things have happened; BS has brought JT, Pearson, Petersen and Peek from the brink of oblivion, so who knows. The only concern is that the game has changed a bit with the new 10m rules, so he may not be as effective but probably better than what we have.

He is playing for the Easts Tigers in the Queensland Cup with Darren Smith and Matt Lockyer.

I see him at least a dozen times a week walking around the city (he works close to where I do) and he looks about 50 but he goes alright in the Qld Cup.
