Whats the latest on Steve Turner?

I noticed he didnt play Queensland Cup last week, anyone know if hes back this week?

Do you think he's gonna get his place back in 1st grade, cause he looked really good in the 1 game he did play. However the Storm backline looks settled at the moment. And i cant see where he's gonna fit in, besides origin time, if Billy makes it.

Who knows? If Hill plays 3 origin games, Geyer might move to 5/8 for that time, which would allow Turner to play on the wing.
He's got to duke it out with Cooper and Webster.

You are fair dinkum kidding yourself if you wouldn't have Scott Hill in your side. I can understand wanting to shift him from pivot to lock, but to not put him in your 13, let alone 17 is sheer stupidity.
I get really frustrated that Scotty cops the blame from a large portion of Storm fans when the boys play bad. He certainly didn't have a good game on the weekend, but to single him out as the reason we lost is ridiculous. You only need to look at the city v country game to see what he is capable of.
And he has been good for us in a number of games this year. Even in losing teams, such as against the warriors where he was named in the 6 for Big League team of the week, so it isn't just me that thinks the man can play. How about Storm supporters giving him some support instead of making him the continual scapegoat for poor performances by the WHOLE TEAM.

Steaming Stormer, when Scott Hill starts playing games for Storm like he did for Country then I'll agree with you, but not before then.

I didn't include Scott Hill in my 17 as I think Geyer is a good 5/8th and combines better with Orford than Hill does. I also think Kidwell has been playing pretty good at lock and didn't see the point of moving him from that position. And I didn't think Hill would work well off the bench.

I will admit that Scott Hill lost me as a fan from the moment that he combined with Orford in the halves. From my observations the team has generally performed better without him in the side. If I could be stuffed I'd actually go back over the results to see if there is any factual evidence to support my view.

Just looking at this years games that we've won I notice that Alex Chan has been in the side on each occasion. With him in our side our record is 3 wins from 4. Go Alex!
