LU crying out for great threads. Fangs delivers.

Is he, or isn't he?

The record as it stands:

http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/player/267192.html?class=1;template=results;type=allround

Tests - 65
Innings - 118
Runs - 6343
Highest Score - 239
Average - 62.18
Centuries - 24

Impressive average batting away from home: 55.16. Article from 2016 has Smith 5th on that list:

https://www.cricket.com.au/news/bes...dman-younis-amla-away-foreign-soil/2016-10-30

He is only 30 years old. Plenty of time for his record to change. Plenty of batsman reaching their peak average around 30 years old:

https://www.smh.com.au/sport/cricket/father-time-stops-for-no-batsman-20121117-29ixb.html

Also batting with very little support. Only two other batsman in the current test squad averaging over 40 in test cricket (Warner/Khawaja...Travis Head the exception but only 8 tests).

You're off your head ref! It's debonair is what it is... Sounds like an ace WW2 Spitfire pilot. Lt-Col Stephen Peter Devereux-Smith
Hmmm Keith Ross Miller went ok without the extravagant middle name

He's ok alright. Looks set for another ton.

Stephen Rodger Waugh hit centuries in each innings of an Ashes test. Is SPD Smith next?
