I'm not usually one to bag refs but that was absolutely apalling. Can someone please give me an interpretation on the 'no try' to the panthers. AT least we got the right decision but that follows an extremely dubious rulling. I always thought that someone inside the ten couldn't get involved in the play. We copped the brunt of this new rulling in the st george game when the Miles try was disallowed. How could the refs distingish the one tonight from any of the other ones we've seen this year.
I wish I had confidence in the decision-making process but I don't.
THe overall performance by the officials was disgraceful and it went both ways.

Yep shouldve been a penalty. Also i think Clarke has got 'knock-ons' and 'knocked back' mixed up....moron.

Is there any other sport that tolerates such incompotence?

Imagine if there was more than 2 points on the line!!!

I can cop knock-ons like the last one despite how blantly obvious they may be, thats just part of the game. (to use a cliche) However, significant interpretational errors undercut any sense of professionalism that the game is struggling to maintain. How ridiculous....

I am not in the habit of posting here, especially as Wests Tigers fans are generally so rude in posting in the Raiders forum and elsewhere about the Raiders.

But the two decisions at the end of tonight's game were mind bogglingly bad. Amos Roberts was miles off side. Should have been a penalty. And then a knock on from the Panthers in the dying minute just after that. Two absolutely awful awful decisions that could have cost a match. Disgraceful. The ref has to be dropped for such appalling errors. It comes about because the refs are coached not to give penalties in the last 10 minutes.......
