STEWARTS,BURNS AND CLEAL TO REPRESENT
SEA EAGLES AT NRL ROOKIE CAMP
Brilliant youngsters Brett and Glenn Stewart,Travis Burns and Kane Cleal will represent the Manly Sea Eagles at the NRL's first rookie camp in Sydney next week.

The four young Sea Eagles will attend the three day camp at the University of Sydney.

They will have the opportunity for specialised coaching and attend lectures on media presentation, the law and its association with sport and a wide range of subjects designed to help prepare the players for success outside of football.

Rising fullback star Brett Stewart said it was an honour to be chosen for the camp.

"I'm looking forward to being in camp with the best young players from all the NRL clubs - it is an honour to be chosen," Stewart said.

"There is so much more to playing in the NRL than just playing and this type of specialised tutition in a wide variety of topics associated with sport is a rare opportunity.

"I'm delighted to be going" Stewart said.

Burns is also keen to get the opportunity.

"Coming on top of a full time training program with the NRL squad this is a real bonus for me in my short time at Manly.I want to soak it all up and learn,"Burns said.

The 20 year old halfback has made a big impression at training and is seen as a real investment for the future for the Sea Eagles.

Both Glenn Stewart and Kane Cleal have played NRL last season and have been amongst Manly's best in training for the 2005 season.

Coach Des Hasler is excited at the young talent he has at his disposal in the NRL and Premier League/Flegg squads.
