i didn't cry ethier, i was proud. 3 months ago we weren't even going to make the finals let alone the GF. I'm proud and happy that we got to see our team play 4 more games then it looked like mid season, i made the 7 hr trip down to the GF and loved every minute of it.
And yes you are right we lost the game, sure a couple 50/50 calls went against us but they did for both sides. We lost because they started better than we did and we took poor options in attack in the 1st half.

Na I didnt cry, and to be honest, I havent seen many Parra fans complain about much. 5 months ago, Todd Lowrie would have been crusified, but in the other thread, there is only one knob who is giving it to him.

I think most Parra fans are sad we didnt win, but know that the boys did well. The thing im sadest about is, yeah we had a good year, but next year we could be minor premiers and not get as close as we did this year, ala St George.

What impressed me with the parra supporters was on the walk out a the stadium and the train trip back to parra,no one looked upset and certainly no one was crying. Everyone was proud of where the boys got to and the way they performed.Even when we got back to parra for a feed people were still in a happy go lucky mood.

Yeah I was more emotional at the fact that we were THERE in the week leading up to the GF...the feeling that I had at the game when fulltime went against the Dogs was indescribable.

I remember Suity saying to me at fulltime that "every dollar you have spent to be here right now is worth it". I imagine being there for a win on Sunday would have topped it no doubt.

Yeah fulltime I was gutted because my team lost and I think I even surprised my missus with how I handled it that night....more reflection...maybe like how Raudonikis mentions the fans leaving the stadium...downbeat yeah but not downtrodden.

f**k...might be time for a cry now though.
