Looks like a pretty good side on paper. I sure hope they can win, especially as I'll have to wait until 12:30am to watch the bloody game thanks to Channel Nein.

Thankfully I have Foxtel, so it is on at 6, but whilst the same channel has the AFL and NRL rights in Melbourne, we are going to get shafted in terms of televising games. AFL unfortunately will always be the biggest sport down here, so commercially 9 would be stupid to show league instead of AFL. By making that decision, it is then in prime time, and sunday night is movie night on TV, and it would be a huge gamble to change that system. Therefore, our only chance of decent coverage is if channel 7 pick up the NRL rights when they go out to tender.

Trouble is Channel Nein are showing two movies before putting the Storm game on. #-o

No arguments from me, it is disgraceful, but I still feel that until something changes in regards to who has the rights, it won't change. The other way about it is that the NRL need to get off their arse and have rules in place regarding coverage in Melbourne when they next negotiate the rights with 9

Well I guess you should find a good book where you cant put down or an overdue book from a libery that you havent finished, surf the net all night, or find some good dvds/vcrs to watch,
