Why is that strange?

We lost the best coach in the world. We lost one the 2nd best fullback in the world. We lost one of the best centers in the world. And yep... Cuthbo.

We didn't replace them.

We have a rookie coach. A new spine.

The competition is very tough this year.

We have lost both trials. We didn't impress by all reports last night.

The betting ain't that strange.

I reckon the market should be:

STg/Ill 1st to 4th $4.50
STg/Ill 5th to 8th $2.70
STg/Ill 9th to 12th $3.10
STg/Ill 13th to 16th $4.30

It is a very tough competition and I think the Dragons will end between 6th and 10th. I'd bet good money on that. Top 4 is unlikely and bottom 4, while also unlikely, is not impossible. There are some bloody good teams out there.

No I don't at all. But I don't think the market they have framed is too strange.
If you look at all the facts is probably accurate for a "pre-season" market.

Personally I feel the 5th - 8th should be the shortest price.

I did think we were more a top 4 chance, but that has blown out a bit.

Hopefully it doesn't blow out any further.

5th to 8th at $3.50 is well worth a go. I imagine there will be a strong turnout for the Shield next week simply because many want to see how the team looks post Bennett. According to this link Hornby will play.

what i find strange is people writing us off before the serious stuff starts, as a betting man i would like to see a few games before making an opinion.
