Eh?

Good win last night, it was great to see the Roosters cop it 8)

But, being the person I am, I have to again raise a small question mark over the purchases of your club for next year

Stringer for mine is like Corey Pearson. A solid player, but FFS, they are getting on and I think he will add squat to your team. I've seen him play quite a few games and I don't rate him (Just my opinion)

Tahu is a top finisher. But is a winger worth such big bucks??? Once again, I don't think so....

Anyways.....Morrision was a good purchase, ill pay that one

Cheers,
Moffo

Hey Moffo, your club offered him a lucrative contract, he went for less money to us.
Dogs chased him previously in 2001. He is an excellent prop, a great signing

Interesting that you are bagging Stringer, cos apparently he turned down a bigger $ offer from the Doggies to be at Parra next year.....maybe he doesn't like the doggies extra-ciricular activities

Paul Stringer was Souths' best player in their first season back, and many thought he was unlucky not to play origin. If he can get back to that form then he will do wonders for our club.

And Tahu is going to be used as a centre. He started his career at centre and hopefully shows his stuff.

Stringer is not much chop. He is solid as I said before but he is getting on in age. I wouldn't have wanted him at the dogs

Anyways, good luck with him. I know that Souths kept the better player in Scott Geddes

You are entitled to your opinion. However, Stringer has been a workhorse for Souths. And we got him for a small outlay. I know your club is not used to that, so is that why you question it?

Not every signing has to be a SOO player.

"getting on in age" is not a problem for props. most of the top props over the past couple of seasons have been "getting on in age".

It's definitely not a worry because we've got a good mix of experience and youth in the props for next season:

Experience:
Cayless
Vella
Stringer

Youth:
Cannings
Tsoulos
Armit
