Suffering in Brissy

I have had it, week after week in Brissy we get lumped with a game that is not the bets sunday game, IF THE BRONCS ARE PLAYING !!!

Last week the broncs played West Tigers and what a crap game it was, meanwhile Saints v Cronulla served up a great game. This week anothercrudfest with the broncs playing NQ, yet Saints play the panthers 7 v 8.

It is an all too common occurance living in Bris Vegas watch the broncs if they are playing, if they are not we will put the other game on. I am sure, as many other Brisbanites would be, there are many RL fans who want to see good quality games that include other teams apart from the broncs. I have rang channel 9 time and time again, to no avail. I suppose I had just better get used to the closed minded RL attitudes of your (as channel 9 so eloquently put it) "typical Brisbane and QLD RL fan, They all want to see the broncos play regardless of what other games are on that day"

Please tell me I am wrong I am sure QLD and Bris Vegas RL fans want to the see the best RL game that day.

G'day Johnsy,
Move to Toowoomba and get the better games on WIN or spend the brass and get pay tv.
I take your point though about Brisbane and the Broncos.
I have said for a fair while now,that there is nothing wrong with Brissy that a nuclear bomb wouldn't fix.
The pay tv caper is interesting this year on the occassions that Daley is commentating on a Dragons game and it happens more often than not.

If both of us have a day off when a game is being played,hop into your car and head to my place.You would be welcome to sit and watch the footy,have a drink and sus out the state of play.

It only makes sense on the surface, in NZ they should only play Dragons games.This is to continue the conditioning process of the seventh state.

Thanks a million for the invite, fingers crossed that I am able to take you up on it. Pay TV will be a certainty next year when the cheese and kisses finishes her postgrad study and begins teaching, hopefully in roma, we are looking at a few years country service. If not any chance you are heading out to Lang Park for the new v Bris game encounter.

Fair enough point, but surely giving the people the best available game on offer is the better thing to do, afterall the consumer demands the best product.

Having Pay tv doesn't always solve the problem unfortunately. The Live Game on Foxsports on Sunday was Wests vs Brisbane

. I am a fellow brisbanite who shares your pain Johnsy, I find myself launching into a similar whine every time the broncos play an unattractive sunday game.
