I know where you live you gormless fool! Someone already pointed out that you live in the boondocks and can't afford to travel. My heart bleeds. No really.

If you think northern rivers - Nth NSW is the boondocks, you are a complete moron. I would guess that the median house price is higher where I live comparative to your suburb, of course if you own your own studio apartment in sydney, and no penrith does not really count as "sydney". I guess thats an advantage you can wake up, have a shower then make breakfast without moving more than 2m.

Lmao! I love how easy it is to get under your skin, old fella. FYI, I live in a mobile home at the back of Penriff. I'd love one day to upgrade to a house in Shalvey. Ahhh we can but dream!

If the Grand Final is moved from Sydney it will be an utter disgrace.

Why can't Queenslanders respect tradition - for once?

How refreshing would it be for a Queenslander to say "no, as much as I love Queensland the Grand Final should remain where it always has been - Sydney".

How would Queenslanders feel if the situation as in reverse? - and be honest - very angry I bet.

In fact, Shane Webcke has in the past said that teh Grand Final should always remain in Sydney. It would be nice to see other Queenslanders support him.

If the NRL keeps taking Sydney for granted it will be lost to other codes forever.

Once the AFL grand final moves from Melbourne or the FA Cup final from Wembley then that will be the day the NRL grand final should move from Sydney.

Already been done, doofus.

Yes, I know that the FA Cup Final was moved from Wembley Stadium for a few years. But only because the old Wembley Stadium was knocked down and the new one was under construction. They would never have voluntarily moved it elsewhere otherwise. And the FA Cup Final is back there for good now.

Exactly, it wasn't voluntary. Unless ANZ is undergoing renovations meaning it is unable to be used, there's no real reason aside from ones I've previously mentioned (i.e. both qualifying teams being QLDers).

Wembly is the spiritual home of the FA cup, and also the Challenge Cup. It would be far easier on the pommy League fan if it were held at Old Trafford or Elland Road. Yet, tradition is held in value, and vast crowds, an event atmosphere, and a direct link with the rich history of both comps gives it oincalculable value.

I'm not a soccer fan, but I'd love to see an FA cup final one day. If I did go, and found it wasn't at Wembly, I'd feel cheated.

I'd rather the game be played at SFS or the SCG, stadiums with rugby league grand final tradition and a decent atmosphere.

ANZ has the seats though. Would be cool if google did a street view of all the stadiums is Australia, see what the inside looks like from your computer!

Well, because it was having work done maybe? Don't be so quick with the insults.

In saying that, I think Wembley is a waste of space. I find it abhorrent that it hosts so few games throughout a calendar year. Yes, I like tradition, Spurs have WHL, Chelsea have Stamford Bridge, Arsenal have Ashburton, West Ham have their Boleyn; considering that any combination of those 4 would attract a 90,000 capacity (in what is a brilliant, atmospheric venue), it makes me sad that more games aren't played there. Yes, it goes against the tradition of everything English culture stands for, but still....

:? Because without explaining why, the post you made was pointless. Had you elaborated, you would've made your point better.
