Just in case anymore out of towners wander into this thread asking for information here's a stadium map that gives you a general guide for seating. When I was a season ticket holder I was in the 640 Bay and had a great view of all the action. I've sat at all the different stands and never had any issues.
As far as food, you'll want to avoid paying an arm and a leg at Suncorp. There's plenty of restraunts and fast food joints around Suncorp. Coming from the Roma St. Train Station coming down through the Caxton there's plenty of bars, restraunts and eateries there you can grab a bite at. If you go past the XXXX Brewery down Milton rd and take a left past the train station there's plenty of restraunts and fast food around there.
I'm really curious to hear how people enjoy their experience at the stadium. I've been going since the stadium was refurbished and it's been home to some amazing memories.
