Super League/Raining/Knock-ons

Noticed this before but never mentioned it.

Can someone explain why it is mostly always raining in super league games, and is this the reason for their being about a million knockons per game?

well in england it rains alot..so im presuming thats the reason for the knock ons.

Its bloody annoying that rain business, I reckon well over 75% of all games anywhere are in the rain.

Another thing I noticed, when it rains for some reason the referee is much more likely to sinbin a high tackle than when its sunny, no idea why but it happens far too often for it to be a co-incedince
