Salford is doing everything right - not losing any games they're expected to win, unlike some of the other teams in that middle bunch.

I said this on this forum 2 weeks ago and got shouted down, Salford have as good a chance as any of those mid table teams, if anything thay have more depth than those teams.
I think Wigan who have a tougher draw could very well miss out, they could be in 9th spot after this weekend.

I think Salford are over acheiving a bit and are not as good as people make out. They are a steady team but IMO lack the flair needed to make the 6.

How are we over acheiving? Beating sides like Warrington, Wakefield, Widnes, London and Leigh doesnt mean we're over achieving it means we're beating teams not as good as our self.

We have just as good a chance as anybody else from the bottom half of making the play-offs.

A lovely weekend for Saints again. Another very difficult away game hurdled professionally.

As for Hull, something like 24 points down to the Wire and get it back to lead 34-30 with something like 5 tries in 20 minutes. Then hand the game to Wire in the last few minutes!

Jamie Lyon 6 from 6 with the boot too, impressive.

Can't remember you getting shouted down JE? Just that Salford's one of a whole bunch of teams in positions 3-10 that will compete for the four remaining spots.

But you were definitely right - Salford are seeming like a sleeper team that are exceeding many's expectations.

Hull are playing some strange footy lately... if they'd switch on/defend for 80 mins they'd probably be right up the top?

Gotta feel sorry for London - just as they're looking like a premiership force and bringing league to the capital they just fell apart :(

Good efforts from Warrington and Salford though!
