from The Round 4 game til present, Benji has kicked 19 goals from 21 attempts.

He currently has 13 from 13 and hasn't missed a goal since the second half against the Titans.

Well done Benji. Here's hoping it keeps up. What has caused the increased success? New kicking coach or is it just finally clicking into place?

i must admit it started dawn on me on the weekend. I was thinking "2 tries and we'll win" "instead of 3 tries and we'll win"

I was wondering why that was, it seemed out of character, then I looked into the numbers, sure enough, benji's goalkicking has improved markedly.

hell, while I'm at it.

The last 2 times the Tigers beat Penrith, we scored 43 points.
43-26 - Round 17, 2007
43-18 - Round 23, 2010

between those last two wins was 5 straight losses

Tigers 5 wins, 14 losses against Penrith.

Last years 43-18 win was our First against Penrith at Campbelltown. We have 1 win and 3 losses v Penrith at Campbo

Payten, Gibbs and Heighington are the only players to have been involved in all of our last 3 wins against Penrith.

Benji needs 87 points to surpass Hodgson as the clubs all time pointscorer.

Payten is 5 games shy of 150 for the club
Gibbs is 10 games shy of 150 for the club
Marshall is 11 games shy of 150 for the club

Liam Fulton played his 100th game against Souths

Lawrence is 7 games shy of 100 for the club
Galloway is 10 games shy of 100 for the club

Farah needs 4 tries to pass Fitzhenry for most tries for the Tigers, and to move into 3rd place on the all-time list behind Marshall and Lawrence

Tim Sheens is sitting on 99 wins as Tigers coach (from 209 games) giving him a win% of 47.4%

His career win% dipped under 50% for the first time since his days coaching at Canberra on the weekend

He is now sitting on 321 wins from 643 games (12 draws and 310 losses)

Thats club level australian games only.

Pretty sure I remember us losing a rather big game to the Dragons last season.
yeah. as well as one during the season at kogorah and another one a year earlier at the SFS. in fact, i can't remember beating them since 2006.

what about the raiders and the sharks? when was the last time we lost to either team?

Only noticed Benji's goal kicking in the Raiders game. 100% strike rate, I thought I wonder how many games he needs to do that for to get him up to the 80% overall mark for this season.

When Miller started in first grade Benji started kicking quite well...think he went 3/4 on the day....I can remember thinking at the time maybe he is kicking better cause of the Miller option-

Dragons v Tigers are the only games I generally get out to.

We haven't won against them in quite a long time...

We lost against them at Kogorah last year and the SFS the year before that. At Kogorah we didn't have a half-back but we were still in the running until Creagh ran McKinnon down in the clear. At the SFS we were never in the hunt, and Moltzen demonstrated with clarity and precision that he's no fullback.

Can't remember the last time we beat them, but I do recall late '05 -early '06 being a good run...
