I really can't believe this, it hasn't sunk in yet. Great win tonight over the Saints, hopefully West Coast beat Adelaide as they play much poorer in Melbourne.

Definitely. We'll be more of a chance against the Eagles.

But... I hope the Swans didn't play their grand final tonight.

They'll be right, I thought they played their Grand Final last week but they proved me wrong, I think they enjoy riding on the emotion.

What a game! Hope West Coast win tommorrow, then I'd back the Swans in the decider, Adelaide will be very tough! See what happens when Sydney kick the ball direct without this fiddling around chip passes all day like they did against Geelong! Brilliantly played!

I hope they play West Coast. West Coast were the team i always thought were the benchmark in the early 90's when i just started following the swans. Plus playing west coast Sydney will have an even bigger chunk of the home crowd behind them.

Swans will continue their long streak of mediocrity and choke in the Grand Final next weekend. Wtahc as the bandwagon grows louder and louder all week in Sydney, then all dissappears in an instant as South Melbourne (nee Sydney) show everyone that they played their Grand Final a week early.

Whatever happens, going to Subi, then home, then into Melbourne has been a top effort.

Yep, covered more miles than the Leyland Brothers over the past few weeks.

The fact we have got this far is a true testament to whatever spirit is within that club at the moment.

I don't really follow the AFL. I was basically going with what meltiger said- nothing will beat watching the bandwagon wheels fall off when the Swans continue their 72-year dynasty of mediocrity

Things looked bleak in the early rounds by this is the year of the Swans!!!!!

Who cares...I, like the majority of viewers, will be tuning into repeats of the
Iron Chef.

Look, honestly if you don't want to post anything to do with AFL, stay out of this forum! Your posts are getting beyond ridiclous!

I've been into the AFL since the early 90's, but didn't really have a team.

When Sydney had that stellar season in 1996, I jumped on to the bandwagon.

I have been on it since, and have always closely followed their fortunes. I have never been to a game, but would love to one day. I also have a Level 0 coaching certificate in the game, but I got it about 5 years ago (when I was doing an education degree at uni), and have never used it.

My god, where did all these bandwagon jumpers come from?

LOL!

I came back from my Gold Coast sojourn and thought I'd logged-on to the wrong forum.

Its like the dayshift (consisting mainly of the footy tipping H&A season crew) have clocked-off and the nightshift (consisting of en masse closet Swans) have clocked-on.

Still, its all in good fun, and its great to see the forum generating traffic at this late stage.

Its a far cry from last season when Brisbane & Port were squaring off.
