Old 16mm vacation films were discovered at a garage sale in San Jose, California by Tim Peddy, and digitally converted courtesy of The California Pioneers of Santa Clara County. The unknown photographer traveled throughout 1940's Australia, including Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.

I made this short film of the Times. The Eastern Suburbs Railway is still being built. King George Tower is being Built, Double Decker "Atlantean" Buses are traveling North on Pitt St. Gone is the Chevron Hotel, Piccadilly Arcade, Rural Bank, and the Wintergarden Theatre in Rose Bay.

See HMAS Melbourne and HMAS Sydney. For Copyright Reasons i did not include my music and song soundtrack. Produced by David Lillicot.
