Each team plays each other three times, once home, once away, once neutral.
Would be like Gladiator wrestling in Ancient Rome. Each game called by Andrew Johns and Blocker.

Whoever finishes last plays the top Sydney NSW Cup side that doesn’t have a top flight NRL team (Bears, Jets, Steelers), whoever wins, cherry picks the loser team and can recruit for a season in the NRL.

I thought exactly the same thing on the way home today. It would give our teams more pain relief through byes too....haha

But it raises the question around structure again

Everything works once NRL RG is in place

Then NSW Cup can be restructured/restricted to non NRL teams and expanded to include non-NRL country divisions or teams
