The Roosters have been busy training in the offseason, and have lined up a tough friendly match against the Parramatta Eels. Despite being new to the game, dougthelegend (who was recently admitted to university ) expects a good, solid first season performance.

Against the eels, he expects to be beaten, but wants to see how his squad lines up against on of the competition front runners.

You never know - it is a trial so the Eels are examining some potential on-field combinations. But better to start off with realistic ambitions, and learn from whatever happens and improve through the season.

i figure ive got the raiders covered - its teams like the Tigers and Eels that are the teams to beat, Newcastle look strong on early trial form, and the Dogs arent to shabby either.
