I thought Wagon didnt go too bad tonight. I have certainly seen him play alot worse. Someone needs to develop some ball skills in him though, even if he is playing second row, wing, five-eighth or fullback, u still need to be able to pass the ball.

This says it all !!!!!!!!!!!!

You people have lost it.

Wags is going to take us to a Premiership from 5/8th.
Don't you get it?? ;-)
With any luck, he may just pass it 4 or 5 times this season.

I sincerely hope he does too but I know he won't because he doesn't pass the ball.
By the way, I like Petersen.

Knock. Knock., Knock, Knock. Tomorrow is ANZAC Day. Would hate to be in the trenches with you people who throw your arse in the corner so bloody soon.
Everyone who played to night gave 100% effort. If the otherside is too good there is nothing you can do about it
Nigel Vagana was always going to be the one to get Cronulla up after his ghame in the Test. Stood out like dogs balls.
Stiff luck, but a good game still, and thats what it is all about. We are improving. Just don't need any injuries at this stage, or any more walk outs like Jamie Lyon (get him into court for breach of contract)

So I can safely assume that you placed your house on the Sharks with Centrebet???

Yeah I did actually. Can now Update from a tent to a humpy. The opposite to Jamie Lyon who went from a mansion to a rented house. Loves the country the boy. Get him chipping cotton in 45 degree heat and see if he comes back.

If Wags does so well in his current role, why would you change anything.

He never stands at 5/8 in attack, but with so many tackles, he's obviously doing his job.

He's not doing so well in his current role though. Sure, he's making tackles but a 5'8th should be more creative and needs to be so to do his job properly. Great defensive player as he showed last night, cannot remember the last time a player has made 48 tackles in a match for any club. As the others say he should be playing lock.

stats are not everything - it's not like if wagon was out of the team we would suddenly do 40 less tackles. his defense has actually been very poor, not only this year but last year too. when he made the australian squad i rated him as the best defender in the game

I thought that Muspratt was great in defence tonight, a tough defender that puts on some solid hits. Shane is also a handy attacker and i hope to see him get more involved, he is a different type of play maker to Dykes and Morris. Muspratt tends to throw long passes which while being basic still give the outside back room to move with the football in hand. I wanna see Muspratt start at 5/8 against the Cowboys. I think he has alot to offer this football team, especially in defence.
