She just got hammered in the 800m Semi Final then blubbered on for the interview afterward. As much as I would like to have sympathy for her, it just happens to often with her. She claims she gave 100% and I dont doubt that, but the simple fact is she just isnt good enough. Never has been and never will be. A harsh assessment yes...but justified.

Yeh look disappointing effort I thought.

But what we got to keep in mind is that we just dont know what the circumstances are behind a poor finish. Maybe she is simply not good enough, maybe she is injured, or maybe it is something we just dont know about.

You have to be proud of anyone representing Australia. Except Sally Robbins...

I acknowledge the fact she made an Olympic Semi Final that is a pretty good effort.
And besides that she is a bit of a hottie. I did notice her chest was considerably bigger than everyone elses in that race. I wonder if that is her problem?

Athletics is a world sport, unlike rugby league.

Yeah so she made a semi that's good, and lets face it at the Olympics you're going against the best in sports! You won't always win or get far but to be there is something.

As for getting all upset and blubbing on tv, well everyone gets emotional I suppose, win lose or draw.

And no I don't like her, she's a fake, cry baby and thinks she's SO good.

IMO this proved that Lewis does not have the ability and never will...I have watched her from the start of her career and she does not have the ability to pick up the pace in the last 300 metres...

Are her breasts real? I assume not since runners carry very little fat. Presumably they are implants, and every extra kg counts. Not a serious athlete for mine.

She is a babe. I reckon she has been largely put upon cause she is a hottie. I mean there isn't a kid alive who hasn't been forced to do a middle distance run at some point. On a world scale - the 800m represents out and out world competition. Making a semi - when white (who for whatever don't go as well as the africans) is quite and achievement.
