Brisbane announced today Test representatives Petero Civoniceva and Brent Tate would remain with the NRL club for the next three years.

Brisbane managing director Bruno Cullen announced the re-signings - which also included hooker Barry Berrigan for a further two years - this morning.

From what I have heard, Thurston was nearly here a couple of years ago, but stayed with the Dogs after being told he would get a starting spot, which didn't exactly turn out the way he wanted it to.
