I can't think of a better day than Anzac Day to produce the upset of the season. With Isaac and Vagana returning to the trenches and Eddie being given an opportunity to show us what he is truly made of i am hoping today is the day we kick start our season.

Big guns Roy, Frog and Kiddy need to lead the ambush from the start and give us a platform from which to attack and put points on the board.

C'mon Bunnies, all true Rabbitoh fans are right behind you 110%, give us something to smile about.

looking at our line up, this should be an absolute cracker. but looking at the form of our line up... maybe not. if luke can spark our attack and asotasi lift our forwards to their potential, we will be looking a lot better then 4.50 outsiders

Also every time i watch souths, Talanoa makes more mistakes than a baby grabbing at candy!

Meritt to fullback is a must

well so much for an upset
If ever the chance presented itself for a chance to win a game it was today but we have some very weak links in our team and the Bronco's identified them and capatalised on them very well.

To JT and Souths, please, please, please watch the game again and the boys who are not upto first grade send back and blood some youth for next year.

Eddie Paea will benefit from the outing but he is not sure whether he is here nor there at the moment so keep him in the top grade and let him learn.

Germaine Paulson is an absolute tryer but he is not up to this grade of football, Fetuli has heaps of go in him but he drops the ball heaps and puts the pressure on us all the time.

Other observations are that Ben Rogers is not the answer to our attacking problems, Johnny Sutton is along for thr ride and Jason Taylor has a lot to learn as a fulltime coach.

I still back my team 110% but some hard decisions need to be made, come on JT show some foresight.

PS: What about Vagana, he showed heart all the way, if we had him all along we would not be where we are now.

You are right, but as well as that every time Germaine ran the ball back he got pounded. He is only a little man, big heart but a lightweight in todays game. By the same token Fetuli is a big boy with heaps to learn. 2008 is gone let's build for 2009. Blood our future stars, the experience will stand them in good stead for next year.

Paea was no worse than anyone else, he needs time to gain his confidence in the top grade. He has been in and out of the side so often he is doubting himself.

As far has his defensive issues go, he is the halfback ffs, our defensive problems go way beyond him. We don't move up in defence, we stand back and allow the opposition to eat up the metres time and time again and are therefore always backpedalling to get back the ten metres. Add this to our penchant for giving away stupid penalties and the total lack of ball security and we have our recipe for the disaster that has been 2008.

Vagana showed the way we need to tackle but unfortunately he was a lone hand.

he made a couple of good efforts, but he just got bumped off by the bigger guys. the thing is, tackling isnt that hard, techically speaking. it sa combination of lack of confidence and fear that is getting eddie down i think. i mean luke is smaller then eddie, and younger, but he is a great defender. eddie just needs to put his bodie on the line. when he does he will get his team mates respect and they will respond to him much better
