What a great team! Obviously Robbo has pulled his hammy again. I'm thinking that Hodgo will be brought into the team, but who do you leave out? You can't leave out Thompson and especially Rutcho on recent form. Glad I'm not Matty.

If stats does play then i would still want Boss in the team and probably drop either Hodgo or Thomo.... flip a coin really, maybe a best of three "Paper, Rock" tourney

I wonder if Martin will play, I thought he would start if he was fit. Last Friday night I thought Tyran really struggled at times and may have been dropped to the bench. He certainly missed some crucial tackles, the O'Meley try he actually fell off 3 tackles that set off memory.

Oh well no complaints, that is a really strong side. Raiders 13+ (that's what I am betting on anyway).

C'mon Wiki, hit Fittler and Finch with everything.

I disagree that there aren't any weaknesses in this side. The weaknesses especially manifest in the halves with Croker gone and with Monaghan, an inexperienced but talented 5/8th, bridiging the gap. He will give us attacking flair but inexperience will always be a little bit of a problem.

We can overcome that by making sure McLinden keeps things in control and leads the way. At first receiver and the way he has been going this shouldn't be too much trouble.

Monaghan isn't a bad defender but obviously without Croker there we do lose some impact. But I can't see why this team doesn't have the power to overcome the Roosters, provided we can overcome the inexperience in the no.6, which, IMO, we can.

The weakness will be the defence that Toots performs for us. It goes relatively un-noticed. A big hole will be left in the right hand side defence, hopefully Mona's can cover the big fella. We will miss him, but we aren't much worse without him. I would send Hindmarsh out there to plug that gap.

yea i was thinking Moggles but Hindy seems a good option....

I can't really complain with the team - other than I think Martin should be starting at lock (he's a work horse) and Smith on the bench so that he can make a huge impact when he comes on. I hope that Elliot goes this way for the finals but can understand that he might have Martin on the bench because he was concussed against the doggies.

It's a excellent team. The only was to make a inexperienced 5/8 better is to let him play more games in that position. Someones gotta do it without croker so lets have Michael have 2-3 more tough games in that position in case Crokers not back for the GF.

Wow, great looking team! You almost don't realise Toots isnt there...but I fear we may feel it on the field with Fittler running at us. Mick Monas, you have a huge job son.... give it your best!
I'm sure Matty will throw someone like Hindy deeper into the fray to cover the defense Toots would make. No sight of Tongue... I mean if we wanted a tackle machine he'd be an option surely???
