Team for next week:

Well, do we give these people another chance or not? I honestly don't know some people are replaceable such as Vella and Wagon, Burt.

My team with Vella, Wagon and Burt omitted:

Vaeleki
Peterson? Last chance
Odwyer- Saw him at Belmore against the dogs and he played well.
Lyon
Grothe
Thorman
Dykes
Widders- At least he can pass or make a break
Hindmarsh
Cayless
Cannings
Moriss
Tsoulos-if fit

Webster/Witt
Pearson
Peek
Armitt

Ok what does everyone think, thorman did do some good things in 1st div and anything is better Wagon at 5/8. Off the bench we need to have a nippy dummy half runner and Dykes showed us that when he took the Bulldogs on from Dummy half in the 2nd half.

I really believe this side is better balanced with Attack and go forward power. Any takers?

Vaealiki
Burt
Lyon
O'Dwyer
Grothe
Morris
Dykes
Wagon
Hindy
Cayless
Cannings
Hopkins
Stapleton

Webster
Widders
Pearson
Armit/Peek

And thats because I don't wanna delete people who deserve at least one more chance. What about Prince, Muzza, Tsoulous, Grushka et al - we have plenty of people ready to step up and I reckon at least 2 of them should be given a go for next week, as well as some positional changes.

both good teams HJ and danno, because they stick with positions, you're picking fullbacks at fullback, wingers on the wing, and utilities in the gray positions (#6 and #14)
smithy's been in the top job for how many years, why is it that fans understand this, but not him?

we need a player uprising like in the movies where in a significant moment they tell smith that they will do it their own way, and go on to win every game for the rest of the season, and win the GF because they stuck to what they believe in (im getting a little off track huh? (its the pain killers im on) )

Forget it guys. You'll only end up getting frustrated again. Smithy will always pick a side which is the exact opposite of what the majority say it should be. Vella should be the first dropped and Armit promoted to start but I doubt it will happen.

My team:
1. Vaealiki - Played FB for NZ, seems the best option right now
2. Peterson - He scores tries, and always puts in the effort.
3. Lyon - Just give him the damn ball
4. O'dwyer - give him a shot, couldn't be worse than last night.
5. Grothe - About the only one who actually deserves to retain his spot.
6. Either Muspratt/Witt/Thorman/ball boy - Just please not Wagon
7. Dykes - Trained the offseason in half and trials at half, too much time spent to not persist a little longer.
8. Cannings - depending on fitness
9. Morris
10. Vella - Let him know tthat it is perform or else.
11. Armit- still think Wagon could work in the second row
12. Cayless
13. Hindmarsh - Is it time to give the Hindmarsh at lock experiment a try?

14. Muspratt/Witt/Thorman - depending on who misses out
15. Pearson
16. Stapleton
17. Wagon

* I'd give Burt a couple of weeks in PL, he just doesn't seem quite ready for first grade yet.

Why would we boot Wags?????
32 Tackles and 10 Hit Ups..... Hmmm...... Only man better was Hindy with 33!!!!
Sure, he was out of position and if he is that good in defence out of position just imagine how effective he might be in position?!?!?!

Why???? :?: :?:

It would be a way of adding Armit to the starting line up, adding strength and mobility to the pack.
Right now I'd pick Armit over Hopkins and after seeing how well Ben Kennedy goes at lock for Newcastle, I think Hindy would go just as well.
Also Armit might add some youthful enthusiasm to the pack - something sorely lacking last night.
