Came here to ask the same Q. I watched a few of last years games this morning. He was in a few of them. His size is what gets him a guernsey, a bit off the pace imo. Good to see Ison back.

Lot of interest there in both sides.
Sprinkling of first graders for the eels plus pezet who will be looking show the NRL world something early.

Our pack is first grade. Surprising for a first trial but with the competition for spots Fitz wants to see which of the possibles wants a jumper round 1.

Ison will be looking to put himself right in the conversation for round 1.

How the hell do we get 6 players called up.
Even if you take out clubs going to Vegas and UK.
Thats 11 clubs two squad of 20, should be no more than 4.
We have 6, prefer these guys who are fighting for first grade Ramien, Puru, Nikora be playing for the sharks

That what we should be doing, Hynes gets picked every year, he for one should be putting club first

Imagine if both Hynes and Trindall got badly hurt in this match - pretty much season done for us before it even kicks off.
I understand the importance of the game to some, and that players might really want to play, but having both of our halves in an exhibition game is ridiculously risky, especially when we don’t even have 1 half decent replacement, let alone 2.

Cant get a player in Origin, but a stack for an exhibition game at best.

I was about to post the same thing.

Play it the day before the GF, with 'the obvious part' being that players in the GF don't play - which would mean our 6 players would still get the chance to play - every year for the next 40 years.
