I just like seeing talented youngsters get a chance to impress. He’s only gotten two starts this year, and one was against the team currently running second. I’m keen to see how he goes against a mid table side. It’s very exciting.

You have to be taking the piss..there have been FA youngsters given an opportunity to impress during BAs tenure.
I wish Jake well and we all do but we can't hand on heart say BA is a coach who proactively promotes youngsters.
He is a conservative coach and rarely promotes a young bloke who may have been doing really well in the lower grades.

Not too bad but when you break it down a lot of these guys made their debut out of necessity due to injuries/suspensions or resting players I.e Penrith game last year.

Davey before signing for Manly was killing it in reserves but got a start as we had a stack of fwds out
Be great to see how this compares with other clubs.

Yes I think a reluctance to both drop players and promote youngsters is a fair criticism.

I reckon this is well below a stack of other clubs. Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story though. As mentioned, resting players and players being promoted out of necessity due to injury/suspensions.
The reluctance to drop players is overwhelmingly embarrassing

Interestingly, fewer 18 year olds have debuted in the same period (and both of them are gone), but more under 22's overall. Also more of them have gone on to become rep class, though I'd say this just points to the Storm's superior junior recruitment. There's also been a few nuffies in their mid-to-late twenties.
