Mary has what he wanted, over 1.5m for the next 2.5 seasons. If sacked he still will have over 2.5m for this period. SGI knew what they were doing when the extended Mary and won't feel bad when they finally sack him before contracts end. These days they have the funds to cover this and I'm sure have factored this into their deliberations.

So don't give up, I'm sure Mary won't be with us for 2.5 seasons.

Not so, a deal was done within the old boys club and the Board rubber stamped it. Even our CEO endorsed the worst coach in the competition. If the Board sacks Mary it will make no difference to the deal because Mary will walk away with his lotto win of 1.5m. No one will complain and many will secretly be relieved.

The key word here is “endorsed”.

Mary is nothing if not unimaginative. If a forward goes down in warmup Allgood will play. If another forward gets injured before Korbin is back then Allgood will play. If a half or back goes down then Field will play.

He has been extended to 2021.

I dont know what he is on, but its safe to assume a 1st grade coach would be on circa 350-450k p.a. ? Just a guess.

So inc this year, that 3 years left @ say400k is 1.2mil .. If there are bonuness, then maybe @possm is very close.

That's what i would have in his contract.It was not as if he had other clubs knocking his managers door down
