So their forwards are better than ours by one game and while you thought our backs were better, points difference says otherwise, unless we win by 30 points. But apparently we can't win because they have the better forward pack.
We had the same forwards last year and finished ahead of 12 other teams, and we never won by much, despite supposedly having such good backs.
Anyone know if I can stream the game?
And so are you, we are all full of shit. None of us know remotely anything going on at the club on here. But it's hilarious at those who continually question, belittle and abuse anyone who is remotely negative of the club and call them death riders. We are last and dreadful, we are having an expensive 8 week review of things. And if they were as rosy as you all on here are claiming why are we having a full blown review??? If we just need a few signings and some luck why are we bothering to do an expensive review??? Are the board and CEO just death riders as well???
Tbf I think reviews are at least as much about PR and buying yourself more time than they are about fixing things.
We're having a review because there are problems unforeseen by anybody in rugby league, except for a bunch of dopey death riders who now think whatever they were whinging about is the cause of our problems.
You also have a review because whatever the problem is, the fix isn't as simple as signing a couple of fat props. If our roster was the problem it would have been identified in the pre-season by the tipsters, bookies and punters.
Spot on, especially B). You see this kind of thing particularly when there are elected officials in power. If the changes are a success they look like geniuses. If they fail they can lump it on the external merkin and still poll ok at election time.
The Board?
The powers that be must think the roster is of some concern because Recruitment and Retention and Player Roster Management & Salary Cap are components of the review.
Surely they would be looking at everything. My opinion is that we've probably taken too much risk on talented blokes with shit attitudes and changing that would make us more consistent and improve the team as a whole.
