Volkman should be on the bench instead of TT if walker is starting.

But I don't understand no DWZ. First really poor move made by Webster.

yeah I agree with this, aside from feeling like Webster had probably earned some benefit of the doubt

Probably a chance DWZ comes back into the side as a late in for Kosi? It can't be that Webster thinks Kosi is a better option.

I suspect that will happen. I might just be that Webster is making DWZ really earn it in training this week.

Yeah... I'm not that keen on this one now. Pound for pound, our team doesn't match up to theirs.

Me too.

But I've have a bad feeling about every Warriors game since 1996
Haha. Usually i have some optimism, no matter the circumstances, but I'm not feeling it this week. Great win against the Sharks but also very lucky & really needed to be followed up with a commanding performance but wasn't (yes unlucky injuries, etc, but still). It feels like 2013 atm, tbh, etc

What happened in 2013? I cannot remember the season.

First season of Matthew Elliot. We were a good attacking team (in fact we scored 50 points twice) and apart from one game against the Panthers (which we lost 62-6, the former Warriors in the Panthers team destroying us) we never really dropped our heads & kept on fighting until the final whistle. But we let too many teams get starts on us in games & we finished 11th, with an 11-13 record...

I suppose the big difference tho is that we were 1-6 after 7 rounds in 2013 while we'll either be 5-2 or 4-3 after this round. So maybe I'm just talking out of a hole in my head :D

Cowboys are more rattled than us at this point of the season. I am somewhat more confident than most on here. Warriors 22-6. The 2 loses haven't enraged me like seasons before. We got fight and I love it. The 2 losses is due to what we know. Bad starts and more recently our discipline. The Roosters lose I was actually happy after a loss. Proud the boys stuck in there for one another. We lost a few troops and fell a bit short. We are at home too. This is a big factor for our team.

Matthew Elliot knew how to talk. Its a pity he couldn't coach. Has a good footy brain but doesn't know how to translate that into his players without confusing them lol

I'm still buoyed by our start, I'm not going to get into the rollercoaster 'we're either premiership favourites or also-rans again' stuff that the media try and roll out. We lost to the Roosters in Sydney (average performance but away and early days) and to Newcastle away with plenty of outs, and big ones.

When we start dropping games we should be winning, then I'll get concerned, or if our injury list goes deeper and longer. But I expect us to win, and win well this weekend.
