Wests Tigers Coach Tim Sheens has named his team to play South
Sydney at Telstra Stadium on Sunday, May 28, at 3pm, in round 12 of
the Telstra Premiership.

Taniela Tuiaki, who scored two tries on debut against the Warriors,
will start on the wing for the injured Daniel Fitzhenry. Jamaal
Lolesi returns to the lock position with Dene Halatau starting off
the interchange bench.

Second-rower Ben Galea is still out with a hamstring injury and is
not expected back until round 14. Sam Harris is also out until round
14 with an ankle injury.

Fitzhenry is out with a broken collarbone until round 19 while Rocky
Trimarchi (shoulder) and Shannon McDonnell (ribs) are out for an
indefinite period.

Liam Fulton is out for the season with a shoulder injury.

The best side we can field at the moment. Gee this hammy of Benny G is taking a while. We need him back ASAP to tidy a few things up.

Lack of pace ??
Souths will have buddy gordon, john sutton and ben rogers in their backline who would struggle to get past blocker roach over the 100
Still i have a very very very bad feeling about this week

Buddy`s in Premier League, they have the McDougall brothers, Shannon Hegarty and Nathan Merritt who all won`t be caught by any of our players if they get in the clear. You need atleast one speedster on the wing. I like the inclusion of Tuiaki, but we should have someone with genuine speed such as Michael Crockett on the other wing.

What`s the full South`s side ???
f) You are kidding aren`t you ??? Elford was quick 10 years back when he was an emerging youngster at the Panthers, but he`d be very close to the slowest winger in the comp thses days. In fact i`d just about be prepared to back Luke Covell to beat him over 50 metres.
I`m quietly confident we`ll still beat Souths, but i`m sure they`ll put a few points on us meaning that our attack will have to be much better than it`s been of late. Bottom line is that Michael Crockett is a very good footballer, he`s lightning fast and he`s not afraid to put his body on the line, he should be in the side and after last week i`d choose Tuiaki over Elford, meaning there`s no spot for Elford.

www.souths.com.au has their sides named
Elford as recently as last yr was stated our quickest over 40m
Elford is also there to defend beside a certain messiah and also allow benji to drop for kick returns on 4th and 5th
I still don't see why elford gets so much bagging on the net.
Everyone who we watch games with reckons he is very very solid and does a great job

I rated Elford when he was young, i actually thaught he had the ability to become a certain rep player of the future, but he got a couple of bad injuries, he`s undoubtably become much slower and just hasn`t been the same player since. I was quite happy when we signed him, thinking that he might just need a fresh start, but although he has been honest i`ve been very disappointed in him. Honest footballers don`t cut the mustard these days, he`s got size, but never uses it to his advantage, he is a solid front on defender as anyone of his size should be, but when saying he`s fast, just think back to the Parramatta game when Tahu made him look stupid and then he got rag dolled by Eric Grothe, not good enough. I do admit that he reads the play reasonably well and the fact that he comes into the centres whilst Benji defends on the wing is a plus, but i`d like Tuiaki to eventually perform this role in any case.

Tahu could skin anyone like thast though. Elford was just flat footed. That was poor defending but that's one of the very times he has done that. The St George semi last yr showed what a solid defender he is

We freakin need to put 50 on em to get our F/A in any sort of reasonable shape. I'm starting to get worried now.

If we get beat by the Bunnies (and I don't think we will) I'm going to watch last year's grand final over and over again till I fall asleep.
