Vital game, away, after the bye. Don't want to lose this momentum. 3 wins in a row and if we're a real chance, there's an opportunity for 3 more.

1- Nicoll-Klokstad
2- Watene-Zelezniak
3- Berry
4- Pompey
5- Montoya
6- Metcalf
7- Johnson
8- Fonua-Blake
9- Egan
10- Barnett
11- Ford
12- Niukore
13- Harris

Res- Walker, Curran, Afoa, Tevaga/Ale

Id maybe move Barnett to the bench and start Bunty - I think he’s most effective taking those initial hitups, and that means we can make sure Barnett is on when AFB gets a spell. No bad options there really though.

Same team. If we can beat the raiders with them, we can certainly beat the tits.

I hope zyon doesn’t get itchy feet and then wants to leave. I can’t seem him getting a run this year sadly.

yeah I think I still am holding onto the idea of Afoa/Ale/Walker/Tevaga bench with them working in tandem. We never really got to see that. In saying that, I recognise that we have moved on since the early part of the year and there’s a few factors in play. AFB and Barnett can and should play big minutes and with Niukore back and Ford playing better, there’s not really the same need for Barnett to start on the edge and move in. As such, with Tevaga fit, there’s probably only room for either Afoa or Ale.

We really need to be thinking about our team for the finals from here. If Martin is coming back, now is the time

Not sure where Martin would go tbh, team running nicely with Metcalfe, and a lot of improvement possible in him...

Siro and Lusso are instantly overlooked but they're performing more than handily. The team's in a good place!

This was the most recent injury report i could find. Timelines are a bit vague still for the likes of Jazz, Ali and Martin.
Jazz is now good to go.

Walker said he cannot wait till him and Jazz are playing that off the bench double act together again.

Jazz may get a NSW cup run first, as they did with him in round two of this year after he missed the off season due to a hernia operation. He played basically a full run at his usual intensity in cup so they pulled him at the end for NRL.

Given he missed the last five rounds of 2022 and the pre season...and hit the NSW full Turbo mode, they may even skip the NSW cup teaser, or make it much shorter than his cup run earlier this year.

He is just so tough and has such a big engine that long absence doesn't slow him down (that would be different if he was an eighty minute forward).

There was a fair bit of that.

But listening to Dylan Walkers latest interview, Webster had told them to focus on the defence and leave the attacking moves for later in the season.

Walker said he asked Webster if they could try some more attacking moves and Webster shut him down and said the thing about sticking to a defensive game plan to build the foundation.

So we have to be mindful that TMM was playing under restrictions.

Personally I strongly suspect Webster will find roles for both TMM and Metcalf in the long run.

Or Jazz to 13 and Tohu at 6
I hope all these suggestion are pisstakes.
Metcalf is going great at 6, TMM is due back, and the last thing I want to see is us shoehorning an out of position forward into the spot. Tohu stays where he is, Jazz takes a bench spot and gives us the one-two punch with Walker. Two big guys for the other two bench spots as Walker can shift to the backline if necessary for injury cover.
