Heard they are using the same team as last week????In going with sheens tactics-of horses for courses--I would have made at least one change or maybe two--1 covell, although he scored three last weekend and had a pretty good game--this weekend he will be up against a slick backline with pace to burn, also orfords kicking game, might test the big fella out.
2-i would have had fulton in their for his pace--I think the storm have a mobile, robust pack and a slick backline-and we will need plenty of pace to mop up their attack--Its just about picking the best team for the day.Although i think our mob with a fair shake from the ref and a few 50/50 calls will get the bacon

I hope i`m wrong, but I don`t give us much hope if the side the Storm picked all play. They have a good solid forward pack that keep rolling forward, whilst we`re still carrying a couple of passengers!

The three players in doubt Matt Orford, Matt Geyer and Steve Bell are all pretty positive of their chances of playing.

If any of them don't play my guess would be Steve Bell. But out replacement, Steve Turner, is more than capable :D

Yeah, that Turner does look the goods.Your only real weakness is helicopter Chan and Howey has done SFA since they forced him to get off the persian rugs!

I think we are a great chance in this one.If we play well were gonna give it a shake.Lets be honest there is plenty of room for improvement after the Parra game.

We`re not without a chance, but it`s going to take something special from Hodgo,Benji and Prince as our forward pack definately aint as solid as the Storms!

I obvious;y dont rate the Storm as highly as others on here.I dont see them being that much better than us.Their forwards are solid without being flashy. They do have some guns in the backline, but if their forwards arent getting field position we can take them out of the equation.

Dont forget they were very lucky to beat Canberra last week, and we gave the Raiders a nice touch up.

Cant see why we cant win this game?????

Totally agree Simon.I rate Melbourne on about the same scale as canberra or St George Illawarra. And we are capable of beating either of those sides.

True.On that theory we should win,but the Storm forwards all run straight and hard, whilst we have a couple of crabs in our side.Lets see how we go anyway. If our forwards get on top of the Storms,i`ll admit i`m wrong about a couple of our blokes!

Melbourne are a funny side....one week they come out and look like superstars, the next they are bog ordinary.

I have seen both Melbournes many times this year.We just have to make sure that we are on top of our game and force the POO Melbourne to show up.

Cheers.

Wests have stepped up to the challenge in recent weeks, and have matched quality teams in the Raiders and Bulldogs. No easy beats. Melbourne will be no different. i expect Wests Tigers to come out with the same enthusiams and intensity they have done with in the last 3 weeks. There seems to be a new sense of confidence in the club, and with the players. They believe in themselves and know they can play quality football.
