EELS: Luke Burt, Ken Sio, Ryan Morgan, Willie Tonga, Cheyse Blair, Ben Roberts, Chris Sandow, Tim Mannah, Matthew Keating, Mitchell Allgood, Nathan Hindmarsh (c), Taniela Lasalo, Reni Maitua. Interchange: Casey McGuire, Fuifui Moimoi, Justin Poore, Joseph Paulo.
Talking point: Luke Burt returns from a one-week stint in the NSW Cup to replace the injured Jarryd Hayne at fullback. Ken Sio will remain on the wing. Ryan Morgan comes in for Esi Tonga (hamstring), while skipper Nathan Hindmarsh will play against the Cowboys after missing last night’s game with a virus. Joseph Paulo retains his spot in the team ahead of Justin Horo.

This is way to early for SK to name his team...

No real surprises at all, personally i would of liked Sio at fullback but wont complain with that backline.

Don't know about Morgan but there's not to many other options. Burt at fullback is the best choice as he is probably technically better suited to fullback than Sio.

I didn't think Sio was great after moving to fullback. I think he would probably be a very good fullback given opportunities, but he didn't seem to turn up in the right spots that often.

ATM I think Burt is the best fullback alternative to hayne

By the sounds of things today Hayne could be back this week and with Kearney's comments one would think it would be at the expense of Burt.

I think Burt will go better at fullback if it`s a dry track on Saturday, but I could have handled seeing Sio given another crack there. Very impressive for only three first grade games. Wow.

If I was Sio I would wait a few months before I signed anything. His price is only going to go up.

That's right. If his manager's any good he will test the open market.

The one advantage we have is that we can offer him an upgrade for this year on top of any extension. Rival clubs can only offer him a contract starting next year.
