Good to see JSL there. Ideally Taga gets fit and his shit together, we drop Paulo and are left with a large bench.

Rabbits will be playing some care free footy. The sort of footy you can play when you don't give two fu*ks!

Hopefully we put our conservative footy away for this week

So how do we beat the rabbits boys? We need to get back in the winner's circle. I suggest getting ball runners in motion, with some runners and decoys. We need to run hard and smash them when they have the ball.

Rabbitohs are dangerous with the likes of Inglis and Burgess and you have to stop their ball runners to prevent their halves from carving you up.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but if we beat the Rabbits this week we will have beaten every team in the comp in the regular season. Not sure if a sharks team has done this before? Happy to see Leutele back this week.

The 1973 side did it.

The 1978 side beat every other team - but they had to beat Manly & Wests in the Semis to achieve it.

& the 1997 SL side did it - albeit in a 10 team comp.

I know nussing. but here goes. Mix it up if it's dry. Early kicks to corners, maybe a chip and chase here and there. Make the bigguns have to run lots of meters just to get across the advantage line. Hit and stick. Dummy half darts in attack through the middle to wear the forwards out even more. Chad and Jimmy need to keep their heads about them and attack to the weaker side on the day and keep at it. Careful not to give GI open space. Don't get into a slanging match with Sam please Menis. He's so much better a player when he's wound up. If its wet and boggy play grind.

Just make our first contact is good again. It's been f**king soft. Hit hard and stick and then win

Souths are pretty average. Their backline besides Inglis, Renoylds and Walker from time to time is attrcious. Their forwards are okay if they're on which is rare. Surely we beat them?

As long as he doesn't overplay his hand.

When we get behind in games, he takes too many hit ups attacking the line, particularly on the 4th tackle.

Graham took his spot on Saturday, getting tackled 4 times on the 2nd last against the Dragons.

We need to spread on the 4th & move the defence around.

Agree. Halves need to get the ball one off the ruck during the attacking sets so they can see the defence instead of the defence getting a chance to see , as Madge says, the shapes as they develop. Need early ball with options on either side to get the defence sitting back in the seat as Matt Elliott describes it. Then the attacking side is calling the shots. We need to dictate terms pure and simple.

Yeah I'm glad Gal wasn't playing on the weekend.. All this getting in the way could have proved costly.

Well if he was there, he probably would've got too involved in attacking plays....trying to do everything he can to win.

He hasn't been doing it nearly as much this year as we've been winning but it crept back in a bit V the Raiders.

Haha exactly.

Our attack will be fine if we mix it up and start throwing some inside balls and kicking over the top. Need to start putting teams in two minds, so Barba stops getting smashed. Hopefully they're saving some moves for the finals.
