With the benifit of hindsight, you can tell wether he made the right decision.

No playmaker knows if they are making the right decision in the heat of the moment, but there are safe options and risky options. Sandow stinks in both areas. He might jag a bit of luck once in 5 games, but he stinks in all areas. A player like Soward tends to take safe options, but he executes them perfectly. I would much rather a player like Soward, even though his defence is as bad as Sandows.

But hindsight won't show you the outcome of the decisions he didn't make. So how can you know that any of the options not taken wouldn't have turned out worse than the option that was taken?

Sure if he turns over the ball you could reliably say any other option would have been better. But he certainly doesn't turn the ball over 70% of the time.

We're talking about his passing game. LBAs are as much about the playmaker's running game as anything, because the generally signify an isolated defender.

No I mean a late pass at the line after successfully selling the decoy runner. Paulo does it often and it creates plenty of space. However if he's going to get an LBA (as per previous years) it will be to the 'decoy' runner, rather than the pass out the back.
