The attention he has had in the US over the last month or as has been the biggest thing in American Sports I can recall for several years....

Of course that is going to translate to attention over here....

The amount of air time he gets on ESPN Sports Center makes me sick... Talk about going overboard...

As a person and the style of game he plays, Tebow reminds me a lot of former Cowboys great and Hall of Fame quarterback Roger Staubach.

One big difference though. Staubach was a much better quarterback.

At the moment Tebow is a winning quarterback. But that wil not last long unless he can improve his quarterback play.

Right now Tebow is the flavor of the month. Let's see if that last longer then just this month.

He is 7-1 as a starter...

None of the gushing Yanks on ESPN ever mention the one loss though, 45-10 to the average ( at best) Detroit Lions...

I predict he will be back to earth by the end of the season...

seriously?
Your going to have a crack at Tebow because he's 7-1 with his only loss coming against the Lions who are pretty damn good this year

I'm having a crack at the fact everyone hypes him up while there are countless other players in the NFL who are infinetely more skilled than him who never get a mention

maybe so, but i dont think his only loss being a blow out to a team like the lions in 2011 is something to give him shit about

Open your eyes champ it's not just sportscenter, it's every NFL related website, tv show, and now I can't even read an Australian newspaper without hearing about him. At least the SMH article was a piss take

'Tebowing''. This new word in the American lexicon refers, no kidding, to people who kneel on one knee with head bowed - a la Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow - every time they want to thank their god for allowing them to do something so fabulous on the sports field. The closest Australian word is probably ''public wankery''.

Don't worry guys, he'll be on the cover of Madden 13 and everything will go back to the way it used to be.

Its not him that is hyping himself up.

The media knows what sells. They know mention him in anything and it'll attract eyes due to his fanbase.

His rookie year he had the #1-2 selling jersey in the NFL and he was predominately a back up.

He is always the first to praise his teammates & coaches...and to me that's all that matters. He isn't a selfish prick like most of the players that play professional sports today.

The fact he gets hammered, when there are murderer's and rapists playing in that league that get nothing said about them...is just funny to me.

I can't believe people are bitching about the Tebow love, the media are always going to harp on something/someone. Sure, he is a rubbish passing QB at times but at least he isn't a rubbish person. I would rather them talk about him and hype it up than them have to focus on other players getting up to no good..........it gives the media something to focus on instead of the disgraceful JoePa Penn State mess.............

Its usually the media that over hypes players. The only player I know who over hypes themself is Benji Marshall
